Morgan Simmons

Morgan Simmons is a true Lake Travis native, born in Austin and raised in the Hill Country where she was a second generation graduate from Lake Travis high school. After graduation Morgan left the hill country for cowboy country where she attended Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. At Tarleton she dabbled in everything from Education, Psychology, and Political Theory. She still could not decide what she wanted to be when she “grew up” so, Morgan hoped that spending the summer in the waters of Lake Travis might help her find the right direction.
As the fall semester neared, Morgan realized she did not want leave Austin again for north Texas, but needed to find a passion, not just a job. After a long discussion about goals, her grandmother had a solution to introduce Morgan to Donna Garrison, her close friend and Realtor. Donna is just the person to direct and groom her into the business woman she wants to be, and now they are “Two Peas in a Pod”!
Morgan is now majoring in Marketing and Communications, but she also has a passion for literature and writing.
She is planning to get her Real Estate License in the fall. Morgan has been interested in the real estate industry since she was a little girl, and has future plans to own an Eco-friendly home development and remodeling company with her fiance/College Sweetheart.
Right now she is excited about learning the in’s and out’s of the real estate and property management business from her mentor Donna Garrison. Morgan is now being trained as the Vacation Rental Manager and Listing Coordinator for Austin Lakeside Properties.
